Lesbian Vampire Killers deserves a mixed review. On one hand, you probably won't be completely offended by it and you won't consider the time spent watching it as lost. On the other hand, there isn't much to tempt you to watch it again. Parts of the film show some interesting directing - among other things, there is some use of text on screen, which could be considered as experimental - but as a whole, the film has a rather dull structure and there is nothing very special about it. Nonetheless, it is original and relatively funny, which means that if you're looking for something easy to digest, this might be a possibility for you. Another thing to consider when deciding whether to watch Lesbian Vampire Killers or not is that performances given by the actors vary in quality - some actors are very believable in their roles and they add to the humourous side of the story, while others can be easily forgettable. Other than that, the film is slightly sexist, though maybe not enough to offend anybody, and the theme could have been handled better, but it is unclear how. Yet, it is still a brave film with some unexpected plot developments and may be worth your time.
